In the summer of 2018, Barrett was in the backcountry in Alaska when he came across these wolf pups. Barrett had seen adult wolves many times, but never pups. Wolf pups are an incredibly hard animal to get photos of, and he was fortunate to have a few shoots with the wolf pups over a couple of days!

Run Home, Roamer is a kids book that journeys along with the wolf pups as they grow up and start exploring their wild world. It starts with them being young and curious, and their curiosity stays with them as they grow up and start exploring new areas of their territory with their wolf pack. Follow along as the wolf pups explore and grow in their first year of life.
