Come experience the wildness of the Aleutian Islands and photograph wolves and bears at a remote, truly by your self, area! It does not get any wilder than the Aleutian Islands. We are off the beaten path on this trip, and that is an aspect of the trip that I really like. Anywhere in the Aleutians is remote, and where we are going we won’t see anyone else!

Ever wanted to photograph wolves chasing salmon? This is the only place I know of where it is a possibility, and it is super exciting watching and photographing the wolves chase salmon! While we wait on the wolves, brown bears will be around going after the salmon too. But wolves are the main goal, and on each of my trips I have photographed wolves chasing salmon!

One big thing to consider about this trip is that we will be sitting and waiting in one spot for the wolves to show up. We won’t be moving around, but sitting in one place a couple times a day for long hours. The wolves don’t show up each day, but when they do it is exciting! Patience is key here, but the reward is very high!

Where we are going has a building for us to stay in, but it is not a lodge. The sleeping and eating buildings are rustic, and the sleeping building is divided into 2 rooms for people to stay in. There is a bathroom in the building, and also an outhouse. They are rustic, but keep us warm, dry, and a place to sleep out of the elements.

One of the things that makes this place special is that it is private land, so we will be the only group of people there when we are there. Being the only people anywhere these days while photographing is hard to find!
